Which cruise sounds better?

Question by Candace R: Which cruise sounds better?
Both cruises would be taken on June 21st, 2010.

1.) $ 356.00 per person ~ A 4-night, Royal Caribbean (Majesty Of The Seas) cruise porting out of Miami, FL at 5:00PM and going to:

-Key West, FL from 7:00AM to 3:00PM
-Nassau, Bahamas from 1:00PM to 11:59PM
-CocoCay, Bahamas from 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Which arrives back to Miami at 7:00AM.

2.) $ 359.00 per person ~ A 4-day, Norwegian Cruise Line (Norwegian Sky) cruise porting out of Miami, FL at 5:00PM and going to:

-Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
-Nassau, Bahamas from 8:00AM to 6:00PM
-Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas from 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Which arrives back to Miami at 7:00AM.

*It’s for me (37) and my 16 year old daughter. We’re looking to have fun, and relax at the same time (emphasis on the fun though! LOL). Which cruise is overall better? (Locations, ship, etc.)*

Thanks in Advance!

Both ships & ports are similar. Key west is a cool place if you have never been before. I have never really heard anything good about Freeport(Grand Bahama). Coco & Great Stirrup are probably the same. But I would go with Royal Caribbean because I think they take better care of their ships.

Now I can’t comment about on the Norwegian Cruise Line as i have never sailed on it. However in 2000 I cruised with my mum on the brand new cruise boat Explorer Of The Seas in The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and it was spectacular!!!! We rated our cruise 10/10 in service, food, and activities. There was a theme night, broadway shows, we did the conga line dance around the ship which was great!!, had midnight snacks and visited many islands…ahhhh i want to go again! One of the islands we went to was Nassau…I recall horse and carts and a lot of jewellery stores there. We had a great time 🙂

I would take the Royal Caribbean cruise. I love Key West, its a beautiful place to visit. Plus, on the Royal ship there is a rock-wall. Your daughter may like that feature. No other cruise lines have them.

The seven-story Centrum is the hub of this ship, an atrium of polished marble and gleaming brass that’s surrounded by bars, lounges and shops. Favorite gathering places include the elegant Champagne Bar, the nautically themed Schooner Piano Bar and the Viking Crown Lounge, which is perched high atop the ship and offers spectacular views. Work out with a view in the fitness center, spend a few pampering hours in the day spa or play basketball on an open-air court. The Adventure Ocean youth program caters to kids of all ages with special activities, parties and lounge areas. There’s also a cinema, casino, showroom and three lounges for dancing. Delicious continental cuisine is served in two formal dining rooms, while casual eateries such as Sorrento’s Pizza, Johnny Rockets ’50s-style diner and the Windjammer Café are open throughout the day for a relaxed meal. Grab a cappuccino or snack at Latte-tudes coffee bar. Recent updates to staterooms include new, luxurious bedding and flat-screen TVs.

    Hope I helped!

I would strongly pick cruise 1. The ports are more fun and you will have a better cruise exerience and more fun on Royal than NCL.
