It's better in the Bahamas

Where would we be as a scene without Body Hound? The band absolutely unleashed last year with one of our favourite releases of the year. In a scene dominated by gentle fret-wandering melodies and emo platitudes, the guitar-shredding, gammon-eating, Yorkshire-flag-waving BH absolutely punish their audience with a more dark and brooding from of instrumental rock. Case in point: this sensational live performance of ‘Spectrum’ from Bad Pond 2019.

The Bad Pond festival has steadily become one of the go-to Brighton math rock and post rock events. Originally a collaborative effort between record label Small Pond and local DIY collective Bad Math, the festival has expanded its tendrils and steadily got its mitts on massive acts. Part of this evolution was a special London version of the festival in 2019, which included juggernauts The Physics House Band as a headliner. Bad Pond 2020 is set to be their biggest yet, with a stellar lineup including TTNG, ASIWYFA and Delta Sleep.

Bad Pond 2020 will take place in Brighton on the 2nd of May 2020. Tickets are on sale right now over here. Get your head out the box, Brighton.
